History
It all started on Saturday, 8th March 2003 when 8 Blackburn Rovers fans in Singapore gathered together and were featured in The New Paper's Saturday Snap section. Lead by Mr Thomas Hoon, the 8 of them were looking for all those "lost brothers" out there who've once supported Rovers and also those who have sticked with Rovers through thick and thin for the past few years.

It was painful watching Rovers, English Premiership champions 10 years ago, relegating to the Nationwide in 98/99 and playing the likes of Bolton, Preston and Burnley. BUT those dark days are over! Graeme Souness has done a terrific job at Ewood Park, first bringing Rovers back to the English Premiership in 01/02, then winning the Worthington Cup that very year and recenty brought Rovers into Europe once again for the second consecutive season. Thus, reinforcing Blackburn Rovers as a Top-6 team in England.

It's about time that we start to magnify our support and loyalty by forming a local Blackburn Rovers supporters community right here, in our tiny Singapore.

Blackburn's Band Of Eight

Website
www.Rovers-SG.com is the first ever online website for the Blackburn Rovers Football Club Supporters' Community in Singapore. It was first formed in 2003 and our first home was at www.brfcsingapore.tripod.com. But due to the ever-increasing advertisement popup problems, the website was eventually shifted to sgrovers.fateback.com and was given a face-lift in June 2003. The site went on for about another 8 months before it went on hiatus.

And finally in early January 2006, after much planning and sleepless nights re-structuring and re-designing the website, the Rovers website is up again! It is now known as www.Rovers-SG.com and finally we have our own domain. With this new home, the aim of ours to bring every local Rovers fans back together once more!
